Buenaventura Sells Royalty Company for $210 Million

Compania de Minas Buenaventura SAA (BVN) has released an update.

Compania de Minas Buenaventura S.A.A., a major Peruvian mining company, has successfully completed the sale of its royalty company, Chaupiloma, to Franco-Nevada for $210 million in cash, plus potential future payments. This strategic deal will enhance Buenaventura’s financial position and support further growth, including their San Gabriel project, which is on track for first gold production by the second half of 2025.
