BTU Metals Corp (TSE:BTU) has released an update.
BTU Metals Corp. has announced that Kinross Gold Corporation, through its subsidiary Great Bear Resources Ltd., is advancing exploration on the Dixie Halo Project, which is adjacent to Kinross’s high-grade Great Bear gold deposit in Ontario. Kinross plans to continue expanding gold mineralization knowledge both down-dip and along strike, and is budgeting $85 million for 2024 development. The exploration includes a state-of-the-art airborne magnetic survey and re-logging of BTU drill cores to better understand the geology and plan for an initial drilling program pending government permits.
