Brookfield Renewable has announced the issuance of C$450 million in green bonds, marking its sixteenth green-labelled corporate securities issuance in North America. The proceeds from these bonds will be used to fund eligible investments under its Green Financing Framework, which includes repaying related indebtedness. This move is expected to strengthen Brookfield Renewable’s position in the renewable energy sector by supporting its sustainable investment initiatives.
