Brookfield Reinsurance has announced the successful election of board director nominees and the approval of significant corporate changes at their recent shareholder meeting. Shareholders have consented to a company name change to ‘Brookfield Wealth Solutions’, alterations to the capital structure, and the implementation of an escrowed stock plan. These changes, aimed to optimize governance and the company’s financial framework, are slated for execution in the third fiscal quarter of 2024.
