British Smaller Companies VCT PLC has announced the purchase of 2,972,034 of its own ordinary shares, which will now be held in treasury. This buyback represents 0.97% of the pre-transaction voting rights and leaves the company with over 302 million shares with voting rights. Post-purchase, the net asset value per share stands at 83.6 pence as of the last report.
