British American Tobacco (GB:BATS) has released an update.
British American Tobacco p.l.c. has executed a share buyback transaction on 11 July 2024, purchasing 210,000 of its own ordinary shares at prices ranging from 2469.00p to 2497.00p. The company plans to cancel the acquired shares, which will subsequently decrease the total number of ordinary shares in issue and potentially affect shareholders’ notification obligations under regulatory rules.
