Brighton Pier Group Reports Decreased Half-Year Revenue

The Brighton Pier (GB:PIER) has released an update.

The Brighton Pier Group PLC reported a decrease in revenues to £13.9 million for the half-year period ending June 2024, down from £14.9 million the previous year, primarily due to poor weather affecting the Pier’s footfall. Despite challenging market conditions, the Group’s EBITDA was £0.4 million, and a new admission fee helped offset visitor deficits during the summer. The company remains cautious about the short-to-medium term outlook, expecting lower than anticipated sales and earnings for the remainder of the year.
