Braskem SA (BAK) has released an update.
Braskem S.A. has announced the cancellation of the Extraordinary General Meeting scheduled for October 3, 2024, initially convened to address matters regarding a change in the company’s Board of Directors. The cancellation follows a request by Petróleo Brasileiro S.A. – Petrobras related to internal processes for board member appointments. Consequently, all prior announcements and call notices regarding the meeting are now void and have no effect.
