Braskem SA (BAK) has released an update.
Braskem S.A. has disclosed a series of related-party transactions with Petrobras, involving spot purchase and sale agreements for polymer-grade propylene. These transactions, including a recent R$50 million deal, are part of ongoing contracts with flexible pricing and quantity terms, all benchmarked against international propylene prices. The company assures that the negotiations and decisions for these deals were conducted without the participation of the counterparty’s partners or managers in Braskem’s decision-making process.
