Bluestone’s Cerro Blanco Permit Challenged

Bluestone Resources (TSE:BSR) has released an update.

Bluestone Resources Inc. has been notified by Guatemala’s Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources that the environmental permit amendment for its Cerro Blanco gold project is under scrutiny. The amendment, which shifted the project from underground to surface mining, had been approved earlier in January 2024. Bluestone is now assessing the legal ramifications of this challenge as it continues developing the Cerro Blanco project, which promises significant gold production potential.
