Bitfarms (TSE:BITF) has released an update.
Bitfarms Ltd., a leading Bitcoin data center company, has significantly expanded its U.S. operations by taking control of a new large-scale data center in Sharon, Pennsylvania. This marks the company’s first major site in the U.S., increasing its American footprint by nearly seven times, and offering access to 120 MW of power capacity with low-cost, flexible energy suited for Bitcoin mining and high-performance computing/artificial intelligence. The new facility is expected to enhance Bitfarms’ mining capacity and operational efficiency, with 30 MW anticipated to be online by the end of 2024.
