Bitfarms Ltd. has scheduled a special shareholders’ meeting for October 29, 2024, upon the request of Riot Platforms, Inc., which seeks to disrupt the company’s strategic review process and potentially take control. Shareholders on record by September 26, 2024, will vote on the proposed reconstitution of the majority of Bitfarms’ Board, amidst ongoing deliberations on the company’s future strategies.
