Benton Resources Inc. has partnered with academic institutions on a $1.32 million research project, funded by NSERC grants, to study lithium resources in Southern Newfoundland over three years. The collaboration, which aligns with Canada’s Critical Minerals Strategy, aims to enhance exploration targeting practices and contribute to the country’s green and digital economy. This initiative also provides valuable training for research students in field methods, data collection, and scientific communication within the mineral exploration sector.
