Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria (BBVA) has announced the issuance of 750 million euros in preferred securities, which are set to strengthen its capital structure by qualifying as Additional Tier 1 Capital. The securities, offering an annual remuneration of 6.875% until June 2031, are aimed exclusively at qualified investors and will be listed on Euronext Dublin’s Global Exchange Market. This strategic financial move excludes retail investors and adheres to stringent international sales restrictions.
