Barclays (GB:BARC) has released an update.
Barclays PLC has announced the buy-back and subsequent cancellation of 4,811,000 of its own shares, acquired at a volume weighted average price of 229.0919p each. This recent purchase is part of a larger ongoing buy-back program that started on 21 February 2024, under which the company has bought back 467,086,961 shares to date. Post-cancellation, Barclays PLC’s issued share capital will be 14,750,196,107 ordinary shares with voting rights.
