Barclays Plc (BCS) has released an update.
Barclays PLC has announced its decision to redeem $2,000,000,000 worth of 8% Fixed Rate Resetting Perpetual Subordinated Contingent Convertible Securities on June 15, 2024, with payment to be made on the following business day. The redemption will include the principal amount and any accrued interest, leading to the cancellation of the securities’ listing on the London Stock Exchange’s International Securities Market. Securities holders are directed to The Bank of New York Mellon for the surrender and payment process.
