Barclays (GB:BARC) has released an update.
Barclays PLC has executed a share buy-back, purchasing 4,043,000 of its own shares for cancellation, affecting the company’s issued share capital which will stand at 14,771,554,765 ordinary shares with voting rights after the transaction. This move is part of a larger buy-back program initiated on 21 February 2024, which has seen the company acquire over 445 million shares at an average price of 197.4836p each. Shareholders will use the new total to assess changes in their stake in the company.
