Barclays (GB:BARC) has released an update.
Barclays PLC has recently bought back 3,812,711 of its shares for cancellation, with prices ranging between 224.1p and 227.1p, averaging at 225.5613p per share. This action is a continuation of its share buy-back program initiated on August 5, 2024, under which a total of 48,744,744 shares have been repurchased to date. Post cancellation, Barclays’ total issued share capital will be 14,672,746,017 ordinary shares with voting rights.
