Banco Santander S.A. has announced the early redemption of its ‘Issuance of Internationalisation Covered Bonds Series 1 – April 2025’ for EUR 1.1 billion, set to take place on October 17, 2024. The redemption includes the total amount of the bonds, plus accrued interest, and the bonds are entirely held by the issuer. The company has completed all necessary communications with relevant organizations to proceed with this financial move.
