Banco Macro Addresses Class Action Suit

Banco Macro (BMA) has released an update.

Banco Macro S.A. has announced that it’s currently facing a class action lawsuit regarding the ‘Check Query’ fees charged in its Buenos Aires Province branches. The plaintiff is seeking to invalidate these fees and secure a refund for affected customers, including interest and legal costs. However, Banco Macro remains confident that the likelihood of an adverse court decision is low and that any such decision would not materially impact the company’s finances.
