Ballard Power Systems has partnered with Vertiv to create hydrogen-powered fuel cell solutions for backup power in data centers, aiming to meet increasing power demands while reducing carbon emissions. Their collaboration has already yielded a successful proof of concept integrating Ballard’s fuel cell modules with Vertiv’s power systems in Ohio. This partnership aligns with the growing trend of using eco-friendly power solutions in response to the surge in artificial intelligence and high-performance computing.
