Baillie Gifford Acquires Over 5% of Ryanair

Ryanair Holdings (RYAAY) has released an update.

Ryanair Holdings PLC has reported a change in major holdings, with Baillie Gifford & Co’s acquisition of voting rights crossing the 5% threshold on September 11, 2024. The investment firm now indirectly holds over 55 million voting rights, representing a 5.001% stake in the airline company. This notification of major holdings was officially communicated to Ryanair and the Central Bank of Ireland the following day.
