BAIC Motor to Update Corporate Governance Documents

BAIC Motor (HK:1958) has released an update.

BAIC Motor Corporation Limited is set to revise its Articles of Association and meeting procedures in response to new regulations by the State Council and China Securities Regulatory Commission, effective from 31 March 2023. These changes will incorporate guidelines from the newly revised Company Law and allow for the holding of treasury shares. Shareholders will receive a forthcoming circular with details and a notice for a General Meeting to approve the amendments.
