B2Gold (TSE:BTO) has released an update.
B2Gold Corp. has struck a deal with Sandbox Royalties Corp., now Versamet Royalties, agreeing to sell a selection of 10 precious and base metals royalties for approximately $90 million in equity, equivalent to a 33% stake in Versamet. The transaction excludes B2Gold’s significant silver royalty on Glencore’s Hackett River project, which B2Gold will retain. This strategic move allows B2Gold to capitalize on assets previously undervalued by the market while maintaining a vested interest in Versamet’s future success.
