Aya Gold & Silver Inc. has successfully commissioned a new 93km, 60kV green-power line, connecting the Zgounder Silver Mine in Morocco to a source of renewable energy from wind farms. This strategic move is set to slash electricity costs by up to 15% and significantly reduce the mine’s carbon intensity by 88% by 2025, aligning with its commitment to sustainable and cost-effective operations.
