Shiroma’s departure is amicable, with no discord reported. Nicole Kelsey, with a background in international M&A and securities law, steps into Shiroma’s former roles, bringing experience from companies like Amyris, Inc. and Criteo. Shiroma exits with a separation package that includes a year’s salary, bonus, benefits, and vested options, and she has also agreed to offer transition services through a short-term consulting agreement.
