Avingtrans plc’s subsidiary, Adaptix, has won the Emerging Technology Award at the Aerospace Technology and Innovation Awards 2024 for its low-power 3D X-Ray imaging technology, which revolutionizes Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) in the aerospace industry. The awarded technology, praised for its detailed imaging and rapid deployment capabilities, has been developed in collaboration with robotics experts from Cranfield University and supported by grants from the Aerospace Technology Institute. It promises enhanced inspection of aerospace components, aiding the advancement towards Net Zero 2050 goals and will be showcased at the Advanced Engineering Show in Birmingham.
