Atrato Onsite Energy Plc has announced a conditional agreement to sell its solar asset portfolio to a consortium for £218.7 million, subject to shareholder approval and intended company liquidation thereafter. The sale reflects a strategy to maximize shareholder value in light of the portfolio’s undervalued share price and the company’s limited growth due to its scale. Shareholders are anticipated to receive an initial distribution of the company’s net assets approximately two months after the expected liquidation date in February 2025.
