Atha Energy Corp. (TSE:SASK) has released an update.
Atha Energy Corp. celebrates its Director of Geodata, Drew Heasman, and his team’s victory at the Future Explorer’s competition, earning the ‘Best Overall Award’ for their innovative use of machine learning to identify potential copper and gold sites near Bulgaria’s Chelopech Mine. Their success in the competition, which saw over 200 participants from 37 countries, is mirrored in their work at Atha’s Central Mineral Belt Project, where similar techniques have pinpointed promising areas for uranium and copper exploration. The winning machine learning process is also being applied to Atha’s Gemini Project in Saskatchewan, with results anticipated before their mid-August 2024 diamond drill program.
