ASX Limited (AU:ASX) has released an update.
ASX Limited’s September 2024 Monthly Activity Report revealed a decrease in new capital quoted to $6.0 billion from the previous year’s $7.3 billion, while total net new capital quoted saw a significant drop, plunging into negative figures at -$16.0 billion compared to the prior year’s $9.9 billion. The report also highlighted a decline in the number of new listings and a slight increase in entities de-listed, indicating a potentially cooling market for new capital and listings.
