Grupo Aeroportuario del Sureste ( (ASR) ) has provided an announcement.
In February 2025, ASUR reported a total passenger traffic of 5.6 million, marking a 2.6% decrease from February 2024. While Puerto Rico and Colombia saw year-on-year increases in passenger traffic of 8.6% and 3.3% respectively, Mexico experienced a decline of 7.5%. The decrease in Mexico was attributed to a 10.6% drop in international traffic and a 2.9% decline in domestic traffic. The performance in Puerto Rico was bolstered by significant growth in both international and domestic traffic, whereas Colombia’s increase was driven by a rise in international traffic. These changes reflect varying regional dynamics and could impact ASUR’s operational strategies and stakeholder interests.
