Ashoka India Equity Investment Trust Plc has announced the issuance of 275,000 new ordinary shares at a price of 286.20 pence each, which is above the net asset value per share. This move increases the total issued share capital to 156,862,397 ordinary shares, all carrying voting rights. Shareholders will use this new total to assess changes in their ownership stake in compliance with financial regulations.
