Ashford (AINC) has issued an announcement.
J. Robison Hays III, the Senior Managing Director of Ashford Inc., intends to resign from his roles, including as President and CEO of Ashford Hospitality Trust, effective June 30, 2024. Following his resignation, Hays will provide consulting services to the company for 36 months, for which he will receive monthly payments totaling $1,909,167, healthcare coverage reimbursements, and continued life and disability insurance premiums. Hays’s resignation terms also include certain restrictions on his interactions with company securities, corporate transactions, and adherence to non-compete and non-solicitation agreements.
