J. Robison Hays, III, President and CEO of Ashford Hospitality Trust, Inc., has resigned from his positions within the company and its affiliates, effective June 30, 2024. Following his resignation, Hays entered into a Separation/Consulting Agreement where he will provide consulting services for 36 months, receiving monthly payments totaling $1.9 million, health plan reimbursements, and insurance premiums. Additionally, this period will count towards his employment for vesting purposes under incentive plans, while he will remain subject to modified non-compete and non-solicitation clauses.
