Arendals Fossekompani ASA (AFK) anticipates a significant impairment of its investment in Commeo, a German subsidiary under its portfolio company Ampwell, which may affect the entire book value of AFK’s shareholding and shareholder debt, valued at EUR 81.3 million. The financial impact of this expected impairment will reflect in AFK’s Q2 2024 financial statements. Commeo is part of AFK’s initiative to create an ecosystem for battery technology and services.
