Hooks, who previously contributed his expertise to companies like Reata Pharmaceuticals and Genentech, will commence his position with a robust compensation package, including a $525,000 base salary and potential for performance bonuses and equity awards. His predecessor, Adam Hansard, exits with a severance agreement that includes nine months of his base salary and additional benefits.
