AMG and BASF’s Sustainable Graphite Initiative

AMG ADVANCED METALLURGICAL GROUP NV (GB:0LO9) has released an update.

AMG’s subsidiary, Graphit Kropfmühl, has partnered with BASF to significantly reduce the carbon footprint of their graphite production, utilizing renewable energy certificates for a 25% reduction. This graphite is a critical raw material in BASF’s Neopor®, enhancing the sustainability of their insulation products. The initiative is part of a broader commitment by both companies to pursue climate neutrality and reduce CO2 emissions.
