American Oncology Network Welcomes New CFO and COO

The latest update is out from American Oncology Network (AONC).

The American Oncology Network, Inc. has appointed David Afshar as its new Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer, with his extensive financial leadership background in healthcare organizations. Afshar brings a wealth of experience from previous CFO roles at U.S. Heart and Vascular, Aveanna Healthcare, and ApolloMD, and his expertise from the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board. His compensation includes a $475,000 annual salary, a $50,000 sign-on bonus, the chance for a bonus of up to $237,500, 150,000 shares in equity, and a significant additional payment if a change in control occurs within the company by June 2026.
