William J. Fehrman has been elected as the new CEO and President of American Electric Power Company, with his term beginning on August 1, 2024, and he will also join the Board of Directors. Fehrman brings a wealth of experience, having previously led Centuri Holdings and Berkshire Hathaway Energy. His compensation includes a $1.5 million base salary, significant short- and long-term incentives, and additional benefits such as personal use of company aircraft. Concurrently, Benjamin G. S. Fowke will step down from his interim roles to become Senior Advisor, while Linda A. Goodspeed has announced her resignation from the Board for personal reasons.
