Altona Rare Earths Advances Fluorspar Mining Project

Altona Energy (GB:REE) has released an update.

Altona Rare Earths is progressing with a scoping study for a fluorspar mine at Monte Muambe in Mozambique, with results anticipated in Q1 2025. The project aims to produce up to 20,000 tons of fluorspar annually, promising quick commercial potential within a year of investment. This initiative is part of Altona’s strategy to diversify and enhance revenue streams alongside its copper projects in Africa.
