Altium (AU:ALU) has released an update.
Altium Limited has announced that its acquisition by Renesas Electronics NSW Pty Ltd is progressing, with approval from the Australian government under certain conditions and only awaiting clearance from the United States Committee on Foreign Investment. The Altium Board is unanimously in favor of the arrangement, recommending shareholders to vote for the scheme, with a shareholder meeting scheduled for July 12, 2024. If approved, the final court hearing will take place on July 18, 2024, with the expected implementation date of the acquisition set for August 1, 2024.
