Alternus Subsidiary Issues Green Bonds, Negotiates Terms

Alternus Clean Energy (ALCE) has issued an announcement.

Solis Bond Company, an entity under Alternus Clean Energy, Inc., issued €200 million green bonds with a 6.5% coupon rate plus EURIBOR in 2021. Despite prior covenant breaches and waivers, a maturity extension to May 31, 2024, was granted. Due to seasonal revenue patterns, Solis will pay only half of the Q1 2024 interest now, with the remainder plus a late fee to be paid in July. Further monthly extensions up to November 2024 are possible with bondholder approval.
