Alternus Clean Energy’s Subsidiary Bond Covenant Waivers

Alternus Clean Energy (ALCE) just unveiled an announcement.

In 2021, Solis, a subsidiary of Alternus Clean Energy, issued €200 million in green bonds with a 6.5% coupon rate plus EURIBOR, due 2024. After breaching financial covenants, bondholders granted multiple waivers, with the latest extension to August 30, 2024, and the possibility of month-to-month extensions until November 29, 2024. These developments were disclosed on the Euronext Growth Oslo stock exchange, with the potential risks of such forward-looking statements acknowledged by the company.
