Alternus Clean Energy Navigates Bond Covenant Breaches and Growth

Solis, a subsidiary of Alternus Clean Energy, issued green bonds totaling €200 million with a 6.5% coupon rate plus EURIBOR in 2021. After breaching financial covenants, bondholders granted multiple waivers and extensions, the latest until September 30, 2024, with potential month-to-month extensions until November 29, 2024.
