Alstom Advances Deleveraging with Signalling Unit Sale

Alstom SA (FR:ALO) has released an update.

Alstom SA has struck a deal to sell its North American conventional signalling business to Knorr-Bremse AG for approximately €630 million, as a strategic move within its deleveraging plan to strengthen its position in the Rail industry. The sale, which generated around €300 million in revenues in the last fiscal year, is set to complete by Summer 2024 pending regulatory approvals. Alstom will continue to provide advanced signalling solutions in North America, focusing on CBTC and ETCS technologies.
