Alpha Financial Markets Consulting PLC (Alpha FMC) has announced the approval of a recommended cash acquisition by Actium Bidco (UK) Limited, an indirect subsidiary of Bridgepoint Advisers Limited, with shareholders voting in favor of the arrangement. The acquisition, which will be implemented via a court-sanctioned scheme of arrangement, is expected to be finalized around 19 August 2024, pending remaining conditions and court approval. This marks a significant step in the consolidation of Alpha FMC’s share capital under the management of Actium Bidco.
