Alpha Financial Markets Consulting PLC (Alpha FMC) has agreed to a £626 million takeover by Actium Bidco (UK) Limited, a subsidiary of funds managed by Bridgepoint Advisers Limited. Shareholders of Alpha FMC are set to receive 505 pence per share, representing significant premiums over recent closing and average share prices. Bridgepoint aims to leverage its experience in financial services to support Alpha FMC’s organic growth and strategic acquisitions, enhancing its long-term potential as a private entity.
