Almaden Minerals Prepares for Arbitration and Delisting

Almaden Minerals Ltd. (TSE:AMM) has released an update.

Almaden Minerals Ltd. has announced its intention to seek arbitration against Mexico, claiming damages of no less than $200 million over investment disputes related to the Ixtaca Gold-Silver Project under the CPTPP agreement. The company has also signaled its voluntary delisting from the NYSE American and plans to transition to the OTCQB marketplace to maintain trading for its U.S. shareholders. These strategic moves follow Mexico’s lack of engagement in consultations proposed by Almaden to resolve the issues amicably.
