Alight (ALIT) just unveiled an announcement.
Katie J. Rooney is stepping down as Global Chief Financial Officer of Alight but will remain as COO until the Payroll & Professional Services divestiture sale is finalized. Her departure is not due to any operational or accounting disagreements. Jeremy J. Heaton, with extensive experience from General Electric, will replace her and assume her financial responsibilities with a total target compensation of $2,625,000 for 2024. Additionally, Gregory Goff has been promoted to President, bringing his vast tech industry experience to the role, with an equivalent compensation package to Heaton. Both appointments are based solely on professional merit, with no disclosed familial ties or conflicts of interest within the company.
