Alibaba (BABA) has released an update.
Alibaba Group Holding Limited, listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange under stock code 09988, has reported no change in its total number of issued shares as of September 9, 2024. The company also disclosed a series of share repurchases for cancellation on the New York Stock Exchange, which have yet to be cancelled, with the total number of shares repurchased amounting to 5,878,400 at varying prices. These repurchases fall under the authorization of a resolution passed on August 22, 2024, and contribute to a total of 0.3% of the issued shares as of the resolution date.
